The following files may be used for spectral (e.g., Xspec) simulations.
 The explanation of them is below.

This Xtend response matrix  file (RMF) is the same as that of Hitomi/SXI  generated with the latest CALDB of Hitomi. 

-xtend_sim_v20201009.rmf

The ARF includes the effective are for a point source on the axis. The integration region of the CCD for the spectrum is a circle with the radius of 2.5 arcmin. It is the same as that of Hitomi/SXT+SXI  generated with the latest CALDB of Hitomi. 

-xtend_sim_v20201009_pnt_r2.5arcmin.arf

The non X-ray background (NXB) file includes the NXB spectrum obtained from the Hitomi/SXI orbital data. It is normalized for a circle with the radius of 2.5 arcmin on the CCD. It does NOT contain the cosmic X-ray background.
